2020 Highlights

I think most of us would agree that 2020 was a BUST!  But despite Covid and the cancelling of 50% of my schedule, I still look back and fall in love with many parts of my year.  While a few of our weddings were cancelled and we couldn’t travel like we had planned, we still managed to have a great year.  Here are a few of the highlights!

Tiny Travels (because COVID)

Traveling is one of my favorite parts of our work.  Although Covid wrecked a lot of our travel sessions and weddings, we snuck in this Key West Wedding right before things shut down…

Sherry & Charlie

And we still managed to squeeze in this stunning Savannah Engagement session too!

Creating Magic with these stunning editorial shoots!

One of my favorite things to do is to dream up epic weddings with other vendors and bring them to life!  Total Eye Candy.

Winter White (coming Soon) | Southern Blues (coming soon)

Black and White Glam | Pink and Marigold

Shooting commercial work for Maxwood furniture.

These allowed me to combine my love of photography and home decor into super fun shoots!

Working in my favorite place

This will forever be a highlight that I get to keep working in this beautiful city.  Next year is already jammed packed with Charleston weddings and sessions and I cannot wait to do more!  Here were some from 2020…

Kait’s Headshots | Randi’s Maternity

Kate & Jeremy | Berry Family

Jillian & Ryan | Nicole and Zack

Shelby & Josh | Kelly

Kaytlin & Benji | Taylor & Josef

Hannah & Alex | Samantha’s Maternity

 Hayden & Eli | Heather & Troy

Remodeling our Bathroom

If you have followed me for a while you know we have a fixer upper here on our hands and we have S-L-O-W-L-Y been renovating it.  This year we tackled the ugliest room in the house and turned it into a favorite!

Creating my first of many floral arrangements

I tried my hand at floral centerpieces on Thanksgiving and I fell in love!  I can’t wait to play again!

I have several coming up still, but we had a few go live this year…

Low Country Wedding- Pink and Marigold Shoot

Marlayna & Cole’s feature.

And I can’t end the year without noting that despite all the challenges and loss this year, I feel so incredibly grateful for all that we did have.  I look forward to the clean start that 2021 offers and I looked forward to creating so much magic next year!
