Kaytlin & Benji

Kaytlin & Benji met when they were small children.  Their mothers were friends so naturally they ended up together a lot.  It wasn’t long until their love started to grow for each other and Benji asked her to be his girlfriend.  These two married at the young age of 18 exactly 10 years ago!  While they were in Charleston for the Anniversary we captured some lovely portraits of them and their sweet dog Berkley!  It was such an honor documenting their 10 year mark!  Young love can get a bad rep at times, but I know first hand how strong it can truly be.  As Kaytlin and I chatted about their relationship, it was much like my own.  Getting married young means growing together, learning life together and always staying the best of friends.  It may not work for everyone but when you work at it, it can be the most rewarding thing in life.  They made my job easy too!  I could see how much they cared for each other, how comfortable the years had made them and just how strong their love was. It was a pleasure photographing you three!!
