THE JOURNAL

Hannah & Alex

I am so excited to share this stunning Runnymede Plantation wedding with you today! Hannah and I share a deep love for mossy trees and she wanted her wedding day to be full of them.  Naturally I had no complaints and happily used moss as the backdrop whenever I could!   Runnymede is a gorgeous Charleston venue that is full of Spanish Moss and waterfront views and we simply cannot get enough of it!!  The dream team of Peper Events pulled Hannah’s moss loving vision to life and left us all swooning.  I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I had a hard time narrowing down photos for this post.  I started with 408 favorites, but quickly realized that the post would take forever to load if I shared them all!  We spent 11 hours with these two on Monday and every minute was full of gorgeous details!  Hannah and Alex also opted to share a first look and capture their portraits before the ceremony so we had so many incredible portraits of the two of them.  Future brides, take note!  First looks give you MORE portrait time and locations if needed!

This gorgeous day was supposed to take place in May, but thanks to Covid, they pushed to October.  Hannah and Alex had been together for 8 years, so a few more months of waiting wasn’t that big of a deal.  And they lucked up with the most incredible weather on their Monday wedding!  A slight breeze, no humidity and sunshine all day!  These two have been intertwined for so long that the entire guest list felt like one big family!  Everyone was smiling and crying tears of joy for these two.  We can’t think of a better couple to celebrate with.  These two have huge hearts and share such a deep love for each other.  It was an honor to document every moment of their first day as husband and wife!

Now let’s chat about this gorgeous reception!  That chandelier stole the show!

Who doesn’t love Gelato?!?

Alex’s parents hired professional dancers to flash mob the reception! It was the perfect way to kick off the party and a complete surprise to the bride and groom!

Special Thanks to the amazing vendor team!!
