I think we can all agree that 2020 threw us for a loop! Right? I entered 2020 with a plan to stretch my creativity and create content that I was excited about. I had lined up sessions each month that were just for fun and just to be creative. This was my March session. But this session happened on the day the our world started to change. I remember walking the streets with Kelly when all the texts and emails started to come in from the school systems telling us that we were to stay at home. Little did I know that this session would be the end of my creative sessions for a while…and all sessions somewhat. My packed 2020 calendar of fun shoots were on hold. My crazy busy spring booking calendar was tossed in the air. And it took me a hot minute to process it all, work with my clients on postponements and cancellations and just to really soak in how much my world changed in a weekend. Now that I am starting to find a new normal (as a homeschooling mom to 5 not to mention full time chef. lol), I am starting to put my time back into sharing some shoots and sessions I never had the chance to blog! I am also working down a great big list of new content to share with clients too. And let me tell you, when we are finally able to get back out in the open together, I will be shooting so many amazing sessions and weddings that I just can’t wait to share. This pause has made me appreciate my work so much more. I deeply miss what I do!
Today I am sharing that last fun session. A bridal session around the lovely streets of downtown Charleston. We had an incredible bouquet from Wisteria Designs and Kelly threw her wedding dress (from Watters but redesigned by the amazing Emily Kotarski Bridal) and veil on and we just had fun! Enjoy a few favorites of our session.
