And now on with the new lens loving!!

Today’s lens is my absolute favorite. It replaced the 50mm for me in ALL portraits sessions (besides part of my newborn sessions) and wedding day portraits! Truthfully I bought this lens YEARS ago because I had heard great things about it, but I was so used to my 50mm that I struggled with it. But, I pulled it back out last year and fell DEEPLY in love. This lens has amazing compression, leaving the background smooth and creamy!! Annoying backgrounds simply melt away! It also gives me a little more reach than the 50mm did during ceremonies. And I just adore using it now. This lens is more expensive than my former favorite 50mm, but it is worth every single penny!!!!!!! I use it 90% of the time that I am shooting. It never leaves my camera bag EVER! The crispness and sharpness are hard to beat!!
