A bit of this post is repeated from our 2016 highlights post, because traveling is always a highlight in my books! But I am sharing it anyway! One of the things I love about this job is traveling to new places and photographing people there! We were blessed with so many FUN trips for sessions and weddings this year! I thought I would do a fun recap of where we headed!
In January, I kicked off my new year at the EVENT in Washington DC. Such a great jumpstart to the year!
We also traveled to the mountains for Kaitlin and Louis’ wedding reception at Terra Promessa Farms!
In February, I headed back to the mountains for Shana’s maternity session at Leatherwood!
In March, I headed to Richmond Virginia for Julee and Wilson’s engagement session.
In April, I headed to my favorite city- Charleston, SC for Leah’s maternity session as well as Katelyn & Derek’s engagement session!
In May, we traveled to Norfolk, VA for Courtney and Daniel’s wedding.
In June we started out the month in Lancaster, PA for Amy & Derek’s wedding.
I later headed to the mountains 3 times within one week for Andrew & Ashley’s wedding with Brett Denfield, Courtney and Shandon’s engagement session as well as Stoney & Kristi’s engagement session!
In July, we once again traveled up the mountain for Stoney & Kristi’s wedding!
In September , we once again traveled to Charleston SC for Michael and & Megan’s anniversary session and a session with the Davis girls!
I also headed to Roan Mountain, TN for Amanda and Andy’s engagement session.
In Ocbober, we traveled to Asheville for Amber and Warren’s mountain elopement.
And in November we headed to Petersburg, VA for Julee and Wilson’s wedding day!
WHEW! It was a good year for travel! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for 2017’s travel plans! We will be going international again next year and I can’t wait!!! We also already have another round of plans to visit Charleston SC so if you want a session there, email me for dates!!
