Courtney and Daniel, as we left your wedding and spent a few hours on the road, I reflected a lot on the day. Each wedding we photograph is similar in a lot of ways but always unique as well. I think the one thing that stood out to me about your day was how it was truly like the joining of two families.
As I watched your moms walk hand in hand to light the unity candle, I thought to myself that was sweet. But there were so many more moments throughout the day that showed how connected you both were to your families and in turn how connected you were all to each other now too! The outpouring of love from your parents and siblings and extended family was visible throughout the entire wedding. You would have thought you guys were childhood friends with close families, but the reality is that you grew up in different states. But each of your families embraced the other with open hearts. Not every marriage is that lucky. I have no doubt that each of those loved ones that attended your wedding day will continue to help support and nourish your marriage through the years as well. Congrats to you both! It was an honor to capture your beginning as husband and wife!
