I am so excited to share this wedding with you today! One of the things I love most about attending workshops and conventions is meeting other photographers. Last April, I met Brett Denfield at the KJ workshop and I just adore her. So naturally when she was shooting a wedding in NC I offered to second shoot for her! We had so much fun! The wedding was in Hickory NC with the reception at the Mill at Hollar Creek.  Such a cool reception venue!  Ashley and Andrew were so sweet together and their entire wedding party was so much fun!  I was mostly photographing the guys, but snuck in a few photos of the girls gorgeous dresses and florals during family formals too!  I must also note that their wedding day was extremely hot!  These guys were troopers during portraits outdoors.  Brett and I were sweating like crazy standing in the sun photographing them!  Luckily, they stayed in the shade!  I wasn’t there for the entire reception, but I heard they had quite a unique one with musical guest appearances from family and friends!  Enjoy some favorites of their wedding day.
