I opened my email and read “I’ve only been engaged for 72 hours but finding the perfect photographer is my top priority!” If that wasn’t enough to make me love her, meeting her and Daniel surely did! They are just adorable together!

The first time they talked, it was like sparks flew. They spent 6 hours chatting into the late night. The only issue was that Daniel was in NC and she was in VA. A little distance is nothing for two people falling in love! Their instant connection carried them through months of long distant dating until Daniel found a job and moved to VA. And now that they were in the same state, they were ready for the next step.

Daniel had worked hard to plan the perfect proposal. Courntey describes it as something from a romantic comedy. Things kept popping up to keep him from getting her parent’s blessing, but finally he did and hoped to pop the question before her sister headed back to college from Fall Break. The day he picked was raining and ruined his plans to propose under her grandparent’s gazebo. Courtney knew it was coming and told him not to stress and just plan for another day when she wasn’t expecting it! Little did she know his family was waiting nearby to celebrate too! So they took a drive in the rain to Childress Vineyards. The ground was too wet and the rain was still falling so she didn’t want to get out at the pond. So he pulled over to a nearby barn. They hopped out of the car into a misty rain and he proposed right there. The rain started pouring down around them and they both burst into laughter as they got back in the car. It might not have been the storybook proposal he had planned, but it was certainly a day neither of them will ever forget!

I am certain that if you brave whatever life throws at you like you did the weather on your proposal day, you will be just fine in life! I had so much fun getting to know you two at your engagement session. You two are so kind and loving and seem like the perfect match for each other! I know that your wedding is going to be beautiful! I can’t wait until May!
