Oh this session was a fun one!! Meggan and Ryan have such a unique story and I just love it! They had mutual friends, but officially connected and eventually started dating after playing words with friends! How fun is that? Ryan proposed at Old Salem at Christmas time, so naturally I suggested we do their engagement session there! These two were troopers in the high heat. We were all a sweaty mess by the end of our 2 hours together, but it was well worth it! Here are some favorites of them.
We started off right where the magical proposal happened.
Then we explored the streets for some fun spots!
I just love all the little spots around that area. I could shoot there all day long!
Ryan’s Grandmother made this quilt from scraps of material she used to make him clothes when he was little. Such a unique heritage piece!
Meggan almost didn’t wear this skirt. I caught a glimpse of it when she went to change and I literally SQUEELED! I told her she MUST WEAR IT! And I am so happy, because these photos make my photographers heart happy. So if you have a Tulle skirt, or you are thinking of a Tulle skirt…YES PLEASE!!!!
Thank you guys so much for a wonderful session. I am so excited for your wedding which will be here before we know it!!!
