I cannot believe that my Alex is 10! I think the thing that hits me the most with him turning 10 is just how much my life has changed in a decade. Ten years ago we had just bought our first home, we were parents to only two. I had just started this business and had no clue where it would go. But now, here we are 10 years (and a lot more kids) later!

This little guy has been such a blessing in our lives. I prayed for him years before he ever joined our family. He was such a light in our lives from the very first day. He rocked my world on Thanksgiving morning back in 2006. My only wish was to make it through thanksgiving dinner, but he decided to make his appearance in time for that dinner too. I gladly shared the holiday with him! This kid has a heart of gold. He will talk to or hug anyone. If he sees someone sad, he will do anything to cheer them up. He is so giving and loving always. I am blessed to be his mom. He loves pokemon, minecraft and pretty much any video game. He recently discovered BB guns and loves to shoot! He wants to be a fireman when he grows up. And with his helping spirit, he may just do that!  He also leads our family in prayer almost every day.  His kindness and giving spirit teach me daily!
