With every wedding I shoot, I start off with details. It is a perfect warm-up time for me and quickly has became my favorite part of the wedding day. I have fallen in love with styling details! But why do I even bother taking the time to style and photograph these things?

BECAUSE THE TELL THE STORY.

Brides spend time picking out every little detail of the day. From shoes to earrings to table settings. Each detail is chosen with intention! Why shouldn’t we capture it? To further tell the story, we incorporate pieces of your day into these detail shots as well. I love using your bouquet or veil as a backdrop. Sometimes I grab things from your table decor too! We try to make the styling match your overall wedding day as much as we can!

I don’t have those things captured from my own wedding day and it makes me sad! What earrings did I wear? I have no idea. What shoes were under my gown? How did the tables look before anyone sat down? Those are things I would love to be able to see again, but I sadly don’t have those photographs. And because I wish I did, I capture them for you.

Imagine how special it would be to pass down your wedding day earrings or necklace to your daughter on her birthday. Showing her the photos from your wedding capturing you in them. Imagine how much that would mean to her. Much like a strand of pearls or a pair of diamond earrings can be a heirloom for years to come, your wedding photos are too.
