Invitations

One of the things I always list as needed in your detail photos is your invitation. This is one that brides forget the most. Some even think they don’t need it for the photos, but I love including it for many reasons!

Invitations are a great backdrop to detail photos! They help tie all the details together and give your wedding day a complete story. I love using them to show off your rings while highlighting your names or even your wedding day.

It completes your wedding story from start to finish. While you wedding day begins typically with hair and make-up, really your wedding day story started weeks (or months for some) ago when your guests got an invitation in the mail. The invite sets the tone of the wedding day and helps portray the type of wedding you are wanting to have. If you have a fancy formal invitation, people expect an elegant wedding. If you invite is fun and whimsical, they expect a more laid-back day. Capturing your invite helps complete your wedding story for your album too!
