Oh this guy!!

How I miss him! He’s usually the one supporting me while I chase my dreams but this weekend, it was the opposite. He traveled to Nashville to do some work for his banjo business.
When he’s gone I remember how much we are a team. How blessed we are to spend so much time together and how lucky I am to have him by my side. I miss my nightly tv date. I miss the way he gets me socks for my cold feet every single night and even puts them on for me. I miss the way he always lets me steal most of the blanket as we snuggle up for our latest Netflix obsession. I miss our nightly chats about life, chasing dreams and these beautiful kids we get to call ours. I miss the way he takes my hand in his and prays for our family every night. This life we live together, these memories we are building are the most important work I’ve ever done. And I can’t wait to be back in his arms tonight!

Most people think that love is defined by huge gestures, but for me it is the little things, day after day. I know when I need him, he is there. And that kind of love is the most comforting and rewarding of all.
