Taking a time out…

Do you ever have one of those weeks that just feel BLAH? Nothing wrong, just not motivated or excited? Just want to hang in your yoga pants, eating ice cream and binging on TV (gilmore girls anyone?) That was me last week. I just couldn’t bring myself to get anything accomplished. It was like the harder I tried, the less motivated I got. I sat here at my computer and stared at the blank screen waiting for work to magically happen. So on wednesday afternoon, I decided to just allow myself a few days off. So Thursday I spent dating my hubby over a nice breakfast, picked up sweet treats for the kiddos at our favorite bakery and binged on fuller house in the evening as a family. Friday my hubby and I ran some errands, picked up some beautiful flowers from Trader joes and a new table for the house. I came home happy with a flower arrangement to put together and was ready to tackle my session Saturday after two days of freedom. Amazing how that happens! So this week, I promise to have more blogging! I have some sweet photos and great tips to share! So check back tomorrow!

It’s so nice to just step away for a few days, and i think we all need that every once in a while!

  2. Love Trader Joe’s flowers!! And yes, sometimes you just need a break!

  3. christina says:

So those flowers are gorgeous! And I’m so glad you took those days to recharge. It’s so important to remember to give ourselves a little grace. I remember when I worked at the hospital full time and I would need to take a personal day and I never felt bad about it….yet now that I’m working in the home I feel terrible about taking a personal day lol

  4. Mahlia Dooley says:

The flowers really brighten ones mood. 🙂 so ready for spring. & now i totally want to go to Trader Joe’s for flowers, cookie butter, & dried mango. ♡♡

  5. Meredith says:

Trader Joes has the best flowers.

  6. I think sometimes we all have BLAH days!
