They had the park to themselves. Which is not normal at all. On any given day the park is busting at the seams with tourist admiring the historic homes, enjoying the waterfront views and soaking in the charm of Charleston. But this day, they found themselves alone. And in that moment that only they shared, Jordy asked Molly to be his wife. It was the perfect spot for him to pop the question since they quickly found that they shared a love for strolling the streets along the Battery and finding beauty around every corner early in their relationship. He proposed right there in the gazebo, and after she said yes, Jordy continued the surprise by taking her back to the restaurant where they had their very first date. When they arrived, Molly discovered her family and friends there to congratulate them and share in their joy!
Naturally when we were discussing their engagement session, we knew it had to include those streets that they loved so much, the spot where it all began and their beloved dog Beau! We had so much fun getting to know these two! Travis and Jordy talked non stop the entire session and so did Molly and I! I think we could have talked for days with them! They are just that kind of people. They make you feel at peace and like an instant friend. I cannot wait for their Charleston wedding next year!
