Chad knew Lindsey was the one, but they dated casually off and on for a while before Lindsey realized that everything she wanted was right there from the beginning. Their love was the kind everyone wanted….full of late night chats by the fire where they laughed and cried as they shared their hopes and dreams for a future. It was full of chemistry but also vulnerability and from that, they found the perfect soulmate in each other. Lindsey jokes that she ruined her own proposal. The day that Chad has planned to take her out for a nice dinner and surprise proposal, she insisted they stay in because it was snowing. She would rather cozy up by the fire and eat pizza. Chad didn’t break a sweat over it. He just created a winter wonderland surprise with candles, roses and pictures of their memories to greet her at the door.
After meeting these two, I can say that they make love look easy. All the things she described about them was true. They laugh together a lot. They are perfectly in sync at all times. Chad is always a gentleman serving and loving her. I joked during our session that most of the emphasis of the photos is on her and he simply smiled and said “as it should be. Look at her, she is beautiful!” If that doesn’t make you melt, I don’t know what else would!
Every single time I get to photograph at Magnolia Plantation, I am in awe of it’s beauty! You simply cannot find a better spot in the low country! From the sweeping mossy trees to the overflowing gardens, I always find new spots I love! I was tickled when Lindsey chose it for their session! It was the perfect backdrop to capture this exciting stage of their life!
