I am so incredibly sad that this was our last wedding of 2017! This year has been full of so many amazing couples, beautiful weddings and just great times all around. I don’t know if this year can ever be topped! We certainly ended with a great wedding too!
I photographed Michelle’s sisters wedding back in 2010, so this was like a big reunion! We knew it was going to be full of caring people and beautiful details! Michelle and Sam love the Renaissance Festival and incorporated pieces of it into their wedding day. It was such a fun touch! Their wedding was candlelit and just simply stunning! The gorgeous jewel tone wedding scheme stole my heart too! So very fall! And the Roost at Butler Farm was the perfect spot for this wedding! The architectual details and stone work perfectly tied their wedding theme together! Big thanks to the amazing wedding party for toughing out the cool weather to do portraits in the gorgeous natural light!
I think one of the most special parts of the entire day was the fact that Michelle’s brother in law Aaron performed the ceremony! How sweet is it to have a family member be a part of your beginning as husband and wife? And he shared the sweetest message about how he and his wife were already praying for their marriage. So incredibly touching! Enjoy a few favorites from their wedding day!
They shared a sweet first look so we could squeeze in all these pretty portraits before sunset!
