We live in the digital era, so there is no surprise that Cole and Marlayna met by swiping right. This is something that every person that gave a speech liked to remind all their guests of. But Marlayna’s sister took all the credit for finding Cole for her and insisting that she swipe right! I guess sisters really do know best, because it was a perfect match from day one!
Cole and Marlayna stole our hearts at first sight too as we met them for the first time on their wedding day. Although I knew they were awesome after we chatted for months before their Mills house wedding, I couldn’t say nicer things about these two after meeting in person. They were gracious and kind to everyone at every turn. I loved getting to know them as a couple too. Each couple we work with is unique. Some have opposite personalities with one being quiet and the other more outgoing. But these two seemed to be the same and work like two pieces that fit perfectly together. Without the other they wouldn’t be complete! And as for their wedding day, it was filled with all the things I love most about Charleston weddings- pink walls, pastel hues, gorgeous florals and amazing people! We are honored to have captured their beginning as husband and wife!
Cole’s parents surprised the couple with bagpipes for their ceremony exit! It was such a fun moment for everyone!
Their rooftop wedding ending just as the sun was setting so we QUICKLY went to capture bride and groom portraits with all the daylight that was left! We did all these in about 15 minutes total!
