Katlyn and Matt grew up together in their church. In fact, when I first met with Katlyn last year to chat about their wedding day, she confessed that she didn’t like him growing up because “He didn’t like chocolate”. It was a super cute story of their childhood (read more about that here) but really shows how far back their story began. Eventually Katlyn looked past Matt’s chocolate oddity and started to see the guy he was. Matt might not love chocolate, but he loves Katlyn. It was evident throughout the day. These two are just so sweet together.

The day of their wedding was sunny and beautiful. We met with them back at their home church where it all began. Within those church walls, they built their faith and built the beginning of their relationship. On Saturday, they started a new chapter of life as husband and wife. It was such a sweet day filled with joy from everyone there. Enjoy a few favorites of their wedding!

When heading to their first look, Katlyn was nervous. I put her in place and right as I moved away, you could see the emotions rush over her. Matt starting laughing and said “You aren’t going to let me turn around are you?” They both giggled and then she tapped his should with a big smile on her face. It was such a sweet moment!

After the wedding we headed to the Harvest House for some gorgeous sunset bride and groom portraits!  I have SOOOO many favorites!
