It’s no secret that we love Charleston since we work there all the time! Today I am sharing some of my favorite things to do in the Holy City!
Places to eat:
HUSK- this is my favorite place. We frequent there. I have to say lunch is probably my favorite because their burger is AMAZING!!!!
Low country Bistro-This is our most visited place. Travis calls it his favorite! Always good!
Poogans Porch- Another amazing place.
Hominy Grill- This is a MUST for Brunch! The Nasty Biscuit is amazing!!
Magnolias- Another Southern Cuisine must try! So good!
Toast- I feel like this little spot is under-rated at times. We have had breakfast there many times and have even stopped in for pie. 🙂
Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit- The BEST quick biscuit around. There is even a location inside the Market to grab to go!
Fleet Landing- The waterfront atmosphere makes this place great! The food was good too!
Litle Jack’s Tavern-this place was awarded the Nations best burger so we had to try it out. It didn’t disappoint!
Poogan’s Smokehouse- BBQ at it’s best. And such a fun place too!
Taco Boy- Take a break from the southern food and grab a taco! This place is super fun and yummy!!
Saltwater Cowboys- located in Mt. Pleasant, this one is on the water and really good too!
Places to visit/things to do:
Angel Oak Tree– This is a must see for everyone. This huge old tree was simply amazing!!
Magnolia Plantation– We have visited so many times and still love to go! We find new little gems every time!
Visit the Market– Watch the straw basket weavers, grab one of Callie’s biscuits and buy a souvenir!
Stroll by the waterfront and rainbow Row- My favorite thing to do each time we visit!
Take a Carriage ride downtown- You can learn so much history from these tours! We LOVE them!
