Last week, I stumbled across this version of this song.
I was never a HUGE fan of the original, but as I listened to it sung as a duet, it hit my heart strings. The lyrics are really well written. I think the line that moves me the most is “(LOVE) It’s the only thing we take with us when we die”
YES! Love is the only thing we can take with us when we die. I needed to ponder that thought. I spend a lot of time stressing over things that really don’t matter. We live in a materialistic world and it’s easy to get caught up in the collection of life. But really, our goal should be GIVING LOVE in life. Things are just things. But Love, it is all that really matters. So for this week, I am trying to spread the LOVE to my family, to my clients, and mostly to this amazing man I share life with.
