You guys, I know I said it in my 2015 recap, but MAN it was a great year last year! A lot of the year really was me investing into this business. For a long time my entire life was in survival mode. With babies and life changes and just having a huge family on top of running a business, I got stuck in the cycle of getting things done and nothing more. Business became a checklist and if it wasn’t necessary I didn’t do it. Late 2014 and into 2015, my life started to have balance again and I had time to really invest in my business and grow it…not just maintain it! I implemented so many things that many people will never even see. I sat down and re-made this business structure from scratch. I changed my business model from print sales to digital galleries. I change my weddings from packages to an all-inclusive experience. I started looking at what I did and why I did it and really made choices with INTENTION. It was life changing!

I tell you this because this year, is really just going to be focused on continuing that growth. Keeping those systems running smoothly and really taking it a step further! We have an amazing line-up of things this year already and I can’t wait to see it all unfold! Here are a few things you can expect this year:

BLOGGING!
As you saw last year, I fit blogging back into my workflow and I am happy to be back! You can expect us to keep blogging consistently and QUICKLY this year! We love sharing our work right away! Be sure to come back and see what we are up to! This past year I also started a series of informative posts for clients and we have SO MUCH MORE of that coming your way! I am super excited about it!

WEDDING FOCUSED
My heart is totally focused on weddings lately and I am going with it. I will still be shooting a limited number of newborns and maternity sessions (and a few other sessions here and there) but we have invested a lot of time and intention into the weddings portion of our business. I am so excited to continue to love and serve our wedding couples and to share in their wedding day! If you know of anyone getting married, we would love to chat with them!

TRAVEL SESSIONS!
I will be traveling this year again! We have a few out of state weddings but we also plan to have a few travel weekends to take on other sessions as well! So far we hope to visit:

Charleston, SC
Phoenix, AZ
New York City
