I love the holidays but this thanksgiving break was extra special to me. I have been working and traveling non-stop the last few months. So much that I haven’t had much time to do the things that I love or spend as much time with family as I wanted. I turned over my last gallery of work on Monday morning and shifted into holiday mode. I was able to finish some of our decorating, shop for our meals, and create a stunning table arrangement for my little family. We always spend holidays traveling to our extended families so a few years ago, I started our own little tradition of a thanksgiving at home on Friday. We set a fancy table with candlelight and a floral arrangement made by me, pull out the good china and make ourselves a yummy meal. Travis always makes our main dish on the smoker while I make all the sides and dessert. This year we had Austin’s girlfriend join us as well which made it more special.
One year I will remember to take photos of all the yummy food we make! This year I got extra adventurous and made a Salted Caramel Cheesecake from scratch and it was amazing!
Happy Holidays everyone!
