When one of your bride’s gets a job as a manager at her wedding venue and invites you to attend a bridal show, of course you go!! We just loved Taryn & Jordan’s wedding so when she told us she took a job working at her venue, we were super excited for her! You can tell she loves all things weddings! Watching her in action yesterday was super fun! You can tell she really just loves her job! And we were excited to attend the wedding show (our first!) and meet lots of sweet brides!
We have never attended a show before, so at first I was lost on what we should do! In fact, I ignored it for weeks. Travis kept asking to work on the booth and I kept saying, “maybe later!” But as the week of the show rolled around, I had no choice but to decide what to do! I didn’t want to invest a ton of money into things that we wouldn’t have a place for after the show. So we decided to use what we had on hand. Travis built a backdrop wall that matched my studio (he is amazing guys! He did this in 2 days!!) and we pulled the frames from my office as well. We took the console table from our living room and displayed photos and albums on it. We also took our bedroom TV and played a slideshow from it. It was simple and a total reflection of our brand. I really just wanted the focus to be on our beautiful couples in the photos and it was! And brides really loved it. I had so many people say they loved the booth and how elegant, light and airy it was…which is TOTALLY the vibe of our work! So I think it was a win! I didn’t grab but a handful of photos from the show because we were so busy chatting with brides! But here are few peeks…
