Julee noticed him across the floor of the Salsa club. Secretly she hoped he would ask her for a dance. After a while, he did! They danced hand in hand that night and then decided to test their chemistry off the dance floor. They exchanged numbers and later went on their first official date. He brought her a dessert picnic outside the War Memorial and the rest is history. I love their beginning because I know from experience that life is just a dance. As long as you have a good partner, you can glide across the dance floor of life. And Julee and Wilson do just that. I couldn’t help but notice how effortlessly they worked together throughout our time together!
Naturally when we met for their engagement session, we had to incorporate parts of their story! We started at the Richmond Train Station just around the corner from that Salsa Club (and of course we had to snap a picture there as well!). Then we headed to that park where they shared a date- the perfect way to end their session. I enjoyed getting to explore Richmond VA more during their session! So many beautiful spots! Here are some favorites from their engagement session!
Can I just say how much I love their outfits?!?
This little spot beneath the tree was my FAVORITE! The glowy light pouring in behind them! I could have shot there for hours!
Julee and Wilson, I can’t wait for your fall wedding! Thanks for an awesome session!
