This gorgeous Charleston wedding was one for the books! I had the pleasure of assisting Grace & Ardor with photographing Rachel & Matthew’s wedding day back in May. I got to spend the pre-ceremony time hanging with the guys which was a lot slower from my normal pace! Rachel and Matthew had rented a gorgeous little carriage house tucked away amongst the historic streets. It provided the perfect place for the girls to get ready and the courtyard was just beautiful for their first look. I could have stayed there all day!
There are so many beautiful aspects of this wedding day, from the perfect shades of blues in the bridal party attire to the gorgeous waterfront ceremony. The reception with it’s greenery filled tables capes or the gorgeous oak trees we had for portriats. All of it was swoon worthy! But the moment of the day that I remember most was Rachel’s first look with her dad. He was tearing up before she even entered the room. You could see his eyes swell with pride for his little girl. Such a beautiful moment! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day!
