The one question I get asked the most when people find out I have 5 boys is “DO you photograph them all the time?” and truthfully, I don’t. I like to live in the moments with my kiddos and often our memories are captured via iPhone. But once a year, I do Christmas card photos. The entire time we are driving to the location and once we get there I remind the boys that this is their present to me. That I want beautiful photos of my favorite people (them) to hang on our walls and to share with family and friends via christmas cards. And they do wonderfully!
Last year, I dreamed up photos of my boys in tuxes amongst the streets of my favorite place- Charleston, SC. And it was so amazing, I didn’t think I could ever top those photos. So this year we took a similar spin and did white tuxedos with feather bow ties at another of my favorite spots- The Old Sheldon Church Ruins. The day we captured these there was two bridal sessions, an elopement and a surprise proposal all going on while we were there. We had to wait for spots and I had to get creative to not have people in the background, but we came through it with some beautiful photos. 🙂 Here are some favorite and some out takes!
Candi, they are sooo handsome. Beautiful photographs!
