NYC 2025

For Ashton’s Birthday, he wanted a trip to NYC.  We are big broadway fans and he wanted to plan a trip full of sites, shows and lots of yummy food too.  We hit the town and got so much done in such little time.   A lot of my photos are phone snaps, but it was too much fun to not share!

Here are some trip highlights:

-Central Park in the fall.  GORGEOUS!  We were at the end of the fall leaves but it was so stunning still!

-Christmas Displays.  We are a little bit early but we still enjoyed some of the Christmas displays that were up early- The Plaza, Macy’s, Radio City and Columbus Circle all had beautiful decorations!

-Christmas markets.  We visited Bryant Park Winter Village, Union Square market, Herald Square Market and a few other random pop ups.  Most of them had the same vendors but we still loved it.  I highly recommend Butterme Pancakes at Bryant Park.  It was great!

-NYC Library-  I am obsessed with libraries and this one is gorgeous too!

-We hit all over the city from the Upper West Side, Midtown all the way down to the Village and the Battery.  Our daily steps were maxed out!  But we took in so much and had a great time!

-Food- we hit up so many great spots.  Some highlights were Leon’s Bagles (the BEST and worth the wait), L’Industrie Pizza, Little Cupcake Bakeshop, 7th street burger, and Bubbys.  Although my FAVORITE was the hot chocolate at Glace.

-Shows!  We saw Stranger Things, Hadestown and The Rockettes.  All SO different and amazing.  Stranger Things blew me away with the special effects.  Hadestown had some amazing performers and mucisians and I highly recommend it!  This was my second time seeing the Rockettes and it didn’t change much in 20 years but I still loved the nostalgia of it!

-Brooklyn Bridge at Sunrise.  We spent our last morning waking up at 5am to walk the Brooklyn Bridge and I am so glad we did.  It was beautiful!

We will be back in the city again soon!  We may just have sessions open there next year too, so let me know if you want to grab one!:)
