Happy Monday Friends! Last week I literally lost an entire week of my life due to sickness. I spent my entire week in bed. Thankfullly I am all better and ready to start off a productive week here! I have some sweet babies to share this week, but I am going to start off with a more personal post today! Enjoy!
One day I picked up the kiddos from school. Alex came out first and climbed in the car. He said “mommy did you know there are artist who’s work is in museums?!” I told him yes and that I was an artist too. He said “You paint with a paint brush?” And I told him that there are a lot of different artists. Some paint, some sculpt, some draw, and I take photos. He looked at me and said “Mommy, your photos look cute. Is there are museum of cute somewhere with your photos in it? I smiled and said, my photos aren’t in any museum. He told me to be a true artist, your work has to be in a museum. So I told him that my museum was the walls of the peoples houses much like ours. Walls filled with frames and my photos hanging for them to see everyday. The answer seemed to satisfy him a little, but as he sat back into his seat I couldn’t help but sense that he thought I still needed a museum of cute.
So, today, I celebrate all of you that allow me to fill your walls of your homes with my photos. Whether it be your first photo as husband and wife, or the tiny precious newborn memories. I am so honored to have earned a spot on your wall in your personal museum of memories. And because I can’t not share a photo…here are a few peeks at some of our wall galleries.
