Back in May, I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding with Lauren Jolly at the stunning Mims House in Holly Springs! This was my first adventure in second shooting and I was excited to have a slightly less pressured feeling wedding day! I photographed some of the details, the wedding party, ceremony and a few shots of the bride and groom. I have to say it was fun! Not knowing the couple before the wedding allowed me to focus on approaching the wedding from a different view. Usually as the main shooter I am making sure I get the necessary shots needed and rarely have time to fill in with other things. But since Lauren was focusing on the bride, I was able to capture the set-up and decor without the rush. During the ceremony I was also able to pay attention to the guests and their reactions instead of focusing on the bride and groom! It was a nice change! Here are a few favorites from that day!
Off to the first look…
You guys….these florals were so pretty!!!
