When I was 16, I babysat two elementary children all summer. Meghan and Adam spent their summer days by the pool with me and often times running to lunch to visit my boyfriend (who happens to be still by my side after all these years). I have many fond memories of that summer and those kids! It was such an honor to be asked to photograph Meghan’s wedding day!
After Covid, Micro weddings became trending and we have to say that we love them. Meghan and Ryan gathered with 20 of their closest Friends and Family at the Rustic Goat Lady Dairy to tie the knot. Just because their wedding wasn’t large, didn’t mean that they didn’t put a lot of time and attention to detail in it. They incorporated so much of themselves and their families into their micro wedding from start to finish. Meghan wore her great grandmother’s necklace and used her Grandmother’s doors from her old home as the ceremony backdrop. Ryan made his own Boutonniere out of metal and made a flower for his late mother as well. The used books which they both love on their table decorations and shared a meal with their loved ones on eclectic vintage dinner plates and dishes.
One thing we love about micro weddings is the couple really gets the chance to celebrate with their closest people. They had time to chat with every person. They shared drinks, laughs and a meal with each guest. It was a special day for all who attended!
