Traveling is one of the biggest perks of my job and one that I always look forward too!  We headed to NYC for a week at the beginning of July and I was thrilled at the chance to capture a few sessions there.  For those of you who may not know, I attended NYU for grad school so my love for the city runs deep.  We have visited a few times (Nia & Minbok’s engagement session and Nia & Minbok’s wedding And NYC Halloween) and I always quickly remember why I love New York!!  There is something magical about those bustling streets that never sleep!  While we indeed had a lot of play time in the city since we visited during my birthday week (The Music Man and Dinner at the Rooftop Serra by Birerria are two highlights!), I also snuck in two sunrise sessions in Central Park.  I fell deeply in love with both.

Marianne and Ryan are NC natives but moved to NYC a few years ago to fulfill a life long dream of theirs.  They are the sweetest two people you will ever meet.  Ryan is a photographer and Marianne is an influencer.  These two are full of style and I have loved following along with them.  When our schedules aligned while I was in the city, I knew we had to capture them!  Marianne has a wardrobe full of gorgeous pieces but when I eyed this Veronica Beard gown, I knew it was the one.  The way it pops against the gorgeous tile work under the Bethesda Terrace was dreamy!
