During their college days at Clemson, these two were set up on a date by Kate’s best friend. Ryan needed a date for his fraternity function and Kate was the one. Although they didn’t spend much time together that night and both ended up dating other people, they still found a way back to each other. One summer in Charleston, these two reconnected and the rest is history! It was so fitting that we did their engagement session amongst the streets of Charleston at the same time of year that these two reconnected!

It was a HOT day when Kate and Ryan met up with me for their engagement session.  Thankfully the waterfront gave us a breeze to relieve some of that humidity! But these two were such troopers especially Ryan in that suit jacket!  But speaking of that jacket- these two had such killer outfits!  You guys, dressing up at your engagement session is NEVER a bad idea!  :). I had such a great time walking those gorgeous Charleston Historic Streets with these two. They made my job so easy! Their love for each other would make you melt! You can tell Ryan is so sweet and thoughtful. His boat proposal at Clemson proved that. But the way these two look at each other made sparks fly! I cannot wait for their wedding next spring!
