Every year on Thanksgiving I write a post about what I am thankful for. I almost hesistated this year because I don’t want it to seem redundant. I don’t want the fact that I state year after year how thankful I am for this business to ever take away from the meaning behind those words. Because the truth is…my heart grows each and every year with this business. Sometimes I stop and think about where it all began. That girl who had a dream and didn’t know if it would ever work out. And I can feel all those emotions and fears come rushing back to me. I started this business with hope and a prayer and today, I run my business the same way. I always pray that God will guide my business on the path that I am intended to be on. I pray that he always sends the right clients my way. And I pray that he gives me the ability to capture the moments beautifully for each of you. I still run this business with a tummy full of nerves, a heart full of gratitude and a LOT of prayers.

I do feel blessed for each and every couple that allowed me the honor of capturing their wedding. And also for each momma that showed off her pregnant belly and then allowed me to hold and pose their tiny newborn. It is a gift that I truly hold dear to my heart. Not only to push that shutter button and take those photographs, but to get to know each of you along the way. To see the joy and love and sometimes fears and sacrifices. It is so much more than just taking photos for me. I give you each a piece of my heart as well.

So, today and always, I want to say thank you. Thank you for allowing this girl to chase her dream every single day. Thank you for coming into my life and my business and gifting me with this dream. I am forever grateful, always.
