Her favorite movie is the notebook, so naturally visiting Cypress Gardens while vacationing in Charleston didn’t seem out of the ordinary.  What she didn’t know is that trip to the gardens would be more than just a boat ride with the man she loved.  She would leave there with a beautiful ring on her finger!

 

I arrived early and got all set up for their proposal.  I watched as they entered the gardens, walked over by the boats and then finally past me.   She still didn’t know it was coming.  Once they were on the stone bridge, he asked to take her photo.  Smartly he had her turn around to take one from behind.  As she turned, he dropped to one knee.  When she spun around the shock took over her face.  I don’t know who was shaking more in that moment, me or them!  Being apart of a surprise proposal is such a special moment.  I am honored to have captured theirs!  Enjoy a few peeks at their engagement!
