We spent this past weekend soaking up all the Christmas in Charleston we could stand! We started our weekend with the Charleston Christmas Spectactular show and finished off the night with dessert from Carmellas! It was a perfect night!
Saturday we started the day watching the sun rise through the fog aboard a boat (while attempting to fish) but we got derailed by the rain. After the rain cleared and we had ate at Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, we hit the downtown streets! Our first stop was the fun train setup at Belmond Place. Travis has always loved model railroads so he snapped some photos for fun! After that we strolled through the market and the walked south of Broad for fun. I enjoyed finding all the Christmas wreaths, garlands and lights scattered all around the city! I took way too many photos of doors and gates and then we headed to Hampton Park to ride bikes until sunset. We finished our day with an amazing dinner at 5 church!
Sunday we headed to the water again and successfully fished until noon before grabbing lunch and heading home for the day. I alway stand by my word that Charleston is magical, but Christmas makes it even more so! Here are a few peeks from our weekend!
