When I first started my business, I only had this sweet little blog.  I would shoot something, rush home and edit it all immediatly, and post a blog about it.  I can still remember the thrill and rush of it all.  Then as my business grew, the days between shooting and sharing grew as well.  And eventually, my life grew (business, added a few more kids, etc) and the space continued to grow.  And it became hard to keep up.  The passion and drive to share it all is still there, the time is lacking.  I have learned to love my facebook page to put up the ONE photo I can't wait to edit after a session.  But I still miss putting the collection of memories out there for all to see.  

 

     I am just as excited a lot of times to see your photos come to life as you are.  I still get giddy when I nailed the perfect shot of that hard to capture kid, captured the exact image I had in my head before our session, or found something beautiful by accident.  That part of my job is so fun!  And I love hearing what others have to say about their photos too!  I have made a little pact with myself that from here forward, I will start blogging more frequently and more quickly after a session!  I can't wait to share it all with you guys!

   We welcomed our fifth sweet little boy into the world on Oct. 12.  Meet Avett Finnigan Leonard – "Finn".  

I will be sharing lots more of him soon too!  :)  

While I am out on a a short maternity leave, I will be blogging all those sessions I haven't gotten around too!  :)  Look for a hopping blog in the next few weeks!
