Sometimes you feel stuck. Just stuck in a moment, stuck in a rut. I really can't complain as my life is full of so much GREAT stuff. I have wonderful healthy children, a loving husband, a home, and the career of my dreams. LIFE IS GOOD. But somedays, my mood gets the best of me. I become a slave to the routine of it all. And I get BORED. Staying home all day with three kids is crazy. Like really crazy. We are in that wild toddler stage with Ashton, where you get bumps on the head every 2 seconds and then he makes a complete mess at every turn. THAT STAGE. Yep…not too much fun somedays. But the longer I am a mom, the more I learn that you have to let your kids be kids. They need to run wild, feel the wind on their face. They need to get that energy out. They can't sit still all day. They can't stay clean. They can't be perfect. They have to be THEM. exploring, discovering, making messes and mistakes and learning along the way. So, I thought it would be fun to escape the house one morning and play with them. To take some of the things from their life into the outdoors and capture it. Playing for me, playing for them. So we loaded up the little two (Austin was at grandmas!) and off we went. :) They were good to me. :)
Asthon LOVES books…
and he loves giving me that look, "mom, I know you said no, but I am going to do it anyway…ok?"
and he loves to eat…
but even in the country we eat fancy, with the pinky up…
YUMMY!
and then back to mischeif…
finish it off with some monkey loving…
and who's hiding under there?
It's Alex..who loves to play hide and seek!
and he loves to play in the dirt…
I will be back sharing an Austin session soon! :)
