I have been working with Maxtrix (and their sister companies) for a few years now.  I have been inside so many Charleston homes photographing kids in their bedrooms featuring all the fun Maxtrix Furniture.  After seeing the quality and design I teamed up with Maxtrix to redo Ames and Finn’s space.  We truthfully did their room about 4-5 years ago, but we mostly used beds that we had from their older brothers and worked on storage for the room.  They still didn’t have lots of space which growing boys need (to play VR or practice Soccer dribbling!). So a Bunk bed was the PERFECT answer!  I was worried that it may seem TOO heavy in there, but it opened up the room so much!  And it has SOOO MUCH STORAGE built in!  Each stair has a drawer in it and the pull out trundle has drawers too!  They have so much more floor space now too and we were even able to add a little reading/gaming nook!  We are in love with this space!  You can find all the sources for their new space here!  

 

We kept their wall color the same (Sherwin Williams Sea Salt in Flat) and added lots of blues and greys to play off of the cooler tones.

 

   

I have missed designing spaces and playing with room decor so much the last few years as our renovations have slowed. This project made me want to tackle and share more!  I will have to dream up some more things to share soon!
