Just a few short months ago in May, Adrianne and John visited the outerbanks. It was a rainy weekend but it didn’t stop them from having fun. One morning, the drove through the drizzle to look at the lighthouses. He pulled over and they walked out onto the beach into what Adrianne describes as “the most beautiful fog I have ever seen!” They had the place to themselves and John thought it was the perfect moment to pop the question. He didn’t have a plan as to where or when he wanted to propose, but that moment on the beach, just the two of them surrounded by beautiful fog turned out to be the most perfect moment. After that magical foggy proposal, the sun came out and it was sunny skies all around.

I would say that these two for sure seize the moments they are given. And it is a beautiful way to live life. I so enjoyed getting to know these two as we did their engagement photos at Hanging Rock State Park. We hiked to the cascade falls and although it was a leg workout that I still feel days later, it was perfect for these two. We were so deep in conversation throughout their session that the hike didn’t seem to phase us. These two are just so down to earth and easy to talk to. Adrianne and John, I enjoyed getting to know you and capturing your love. I can’t wait for your wedding day!
