I can’t believe that Christmas time is here! I love the holidays so much! One of our favorite things about Christmas is decorating our home. While our home is not perfect and is always evolving, we love dressing it up for the holidays. Most of our decorations have been the same for years, but this year the space feels so different. First off, we cleared the clutter. LESS IS MORE! I started last January purging our home. So if you look at last year’s photos you will notice our shelves have lost their books, bins and several frames. I love the look of a more open shelf. We also made a HUGE change to our living spaces last year right after Christmas. We opened the doorway from the living and dining room to make it feel like one big space. And I have to say, seeing it all dressed up for Christmas made that project feel SO GOOD! Don’t look too closely because we have STILL yet to caulk and paint the molding and trim! ha! Another project I did this month was paint our old front door. While I would love to get a new one, we just used what we had (including the paint we had on hand). I gave it a thick coat of black, added a fun wreath and bells and then switched out our old knocker for this fun lion one!!! I LOVE how it looks!
yes we have two trees! lol. We bought a real one and I LOVE IT! But I have wanted a snowy tree for years and I found this one for $30!! So we popped it in the corner and Enjoyed it this week too!
