This week is a slow week for me business wise…but really it is just the calm before the storm! We have such an exciting month ahead and I am so ready to get back out there and photograph some stunning weddings! But this down time has really given me a chance to set some things into motion for the upcoming months and years ahead. It is such a great feeling!
Today I am sharing two apps/programs that I LOVE in my business. Hope it helps someone else too!
I have used this for years and it is serious the best blogging software out there! I highly recommend it. I just import my images into it and it resizes for webs, collages them together if wanted and then saves them in a folder. With one hit of a button, I can post all of them on my blog without uploading them each individually! It is a super time saver! If you are blogger of any kind, try it out! So worth the small investment!
I absolutely hate the Accounting/Tax end of running a business. I have had my systems in place for years to keep up with income and categorize expenses. One area I always lacked in was Business Mileage! I am terrible with it. Amy and Jordan recommended it a while back and i thought, why not try it? And it is awesome!!
It works on my phone, automatically calculates my travel and I just have to swipe to save it as business mileage. It rocks! If you are a small business owner, give it a try!
