There are so many perks of my job. I love so much of what I do. Capturing special moments of people’s lives will never get old to me! But one of the coolest parts of my job is to show women the beauty that other’s see in them. I have had so many brides, pregnant women and even high school seniors say to me that they didn’t feel pretty but when they saw themselves in my photos they felt stunning. And to me that is the biggest compliment I can receive. I share this because Autumn was hesitant to capture her maternity portraits. Like most pregnant women, you feel anything but beautiful during this stage of life. I can sympathize as during my pregnancies I felt huge, swollen and just anything but attractive. Pregnancy changes your body in a way no one can even explain. But there is so much BEAUTY in those changes. SO much to celebrate in that moment. Your body is doing exactly what it was designed to do! Pregnancy is such a miracle and should be celebrated. I am so glad that Autumn trusted me to capture this amazing time in her life and I hope that she will treasure these photos forever!
