Ames’ Dinosaur Party

If you have followed me for a while you know one thing I love doing is throwing my kids cute parties.  In fact, we have done so many that I am out of ideas and I certainly can’t top myself anymore! ha!  But, I have learned that simply done is just perfect for us!  So we do parties simple now.  I decorate the table and a little cake table and we are DONE.  And it makes my kids happy to have that little bit of decoration.  And it keeps my stress levels at bay.  In fact the day of this party we had a BUSY day!  A lock-in/yard sale, pinewood derby competition, two baseball games and then we ended the day with this party.  So I needed something simple! Ames’ requested a dinosaur party.  So I knew I wanted to do bright colored dinosaurs with leafy greenery on our table.  This is my party go-to decor.  We already had orange and blue from a past party, so we went with that.  Here are a few shots of his day…

All dinosaurs are from the dollar tree painted with spray paint from hobby lobby.  Greenery is from Trader Joe’s.  Cake platters are pier one.  Tiny bags are hobby lobby stamped by yours truly.  And all the orange stuff was leftover from Finn’s pumpkin party at Halloween!
