It was a quiet year for the most part, but everything we created felt like magic…which is the best kind of year in my opinion. I have learned after years of doing this that busy isn’t the goal. I would rather have quality and way less! This year I took a lot of time to myself and cut my work hours back significantly. Because of this, I enjoyed the work I did create even more and I started to miss working for the first time in forever. It was a much need reset for myself! Of the sessions, shoots and weddings we did have I narrowed down my favorites which is a very hard task! I am happy to share them with you here today!

And while I love sharing gorgeous photos that inspire me, I also want to take this time to say that while shooting all the pretty things is fun, I know there is so much more to this career of mine. This year the most precious photos I took were of this sweet family…

These photos will remind sweet baby Nora that her father loved her so much. This is their last photos as a family of three. Ethan and Danielle have been in front of my camera many times as I have captured their milestones over the last few years. Sadly, he passed away right before Christmas after battling Cancer. I was honored to have captured so many sweet moments in their life and grateful that God allowed me to use my skills to bless them. I thank each and every one of you that allow me to do the same for your family. That is why I do what I do.
