Oh Friends, you are in for a real treat today!! We shot our last wedding of the season last friday and I have to say we went out with a HUGE BANG! This wedding is totally different from every wedding we have ever shot for so many reasons! First, it was in New York City! We traveled back to the big apple to celebrate with Nia & Minbok! It was a huge celebration for sure!

I knew from the moment Nia started planning her wedding that it would be the most stunning and detailed wedding. She really loves details and thinks about the little things. Given that, we allowed 2 hours of shooting details in our timeline. This made a HUGE difference. I was able to really take my time and set up so many great shots of her day! The jewlrey, table settings, invitation suite, and a bunch of decor items kept me busy! It was an absolute DREAM to photograph it all.
But as stunning as the details were, I think what I loved the most about this wedding was the love that Minbok and Nia share. They both care so deeply for each other and it shows in everything they do. They teared up many times throughout the day and it was super sweet to witness. Their first look was so touching. Nia was crying before we even got to the meeting spot. Minbok was shaking before he turned around. And the minute they locked eyes, the floodgates opened with happy tears! Those tears quickly turned into big smiles all around!
Their wedding was truly a celebration of two people in love. The ceremony was so emotional and centered around each other. It felt so intimate even though there was a packed room watching. And not only was the love that they shared for each other evident, you could feel how much each person there loved them as well. The reception was non-traditional for us (no garter or bouqet tosses, no cake cutting) but instead Nia and Minbok provided endless amounts of entertainment for their guest to enjoy! They had performances from special guest and even a visit from the late Michael Jackson! It was truly an event not to miss! The only thing I regret about the day is not having MORE time to celebrate with these two and take more portraits! Because they were stunning!
