Our sweet Finn turned Five last week! I can’t believe it! We started chatting about his party a few weeks back in the car when I was picking up his brothers from school. He happened to be looking at the Pottery Barn Kids halloween catalog when he decided that he wanted a “snoopy halloween” party. Luckily, I was able to score some of the stuff from that catalog for a fraction of the price last minute! This party was very much simple and DIY. After a long week of Ashton having emergency surgery and needing extra attention, we threw this party together in a day. Literally. Since we had the snoopy plates, cups and table cloth, I just pulled together DIY stuff for the rest of the party. I love a good celebration, but I also love to keep it simple. A lot of the party supplies we have on hand and reuse each year. I made a poster in photoshop and had it printed at staples and we took a grocery store plain white cake and transformed it into a cute cake to match our theme (see how on our instagram stories!). I also made the Charlie Brown ghosts for the centerpieces using styrofoam balls, fabric and felt. Super quick and easy and the kids LOVED them. All we had left to do was add some pumpkins, balloons, and cookies from our favorite bakery and our party was complete. Enjoy a few peeks at his day!
