They were walking their dogs in the woods looking for deer sheds. They stopped along side the creek to let the dogs get some water and to rest. It was right there that she noticed a tree. On that tree she saw the words she had waited for “Will you marry me?” carved. As she read them she looked back to find Cody on his knees with a stunning diamond ring. It was the perfect proposal for these two. They met through mutual friends but after discovering they shared a love of the outdoors, animals and laughter Cody officially asked her out. Through the years together, they have enjoyed all those things as a couple. Now that they are starting their next chapter as husband and wife, it seemed fitting to incorporate those things into their engagement session. We met on their beautiful farm and captured their love among cotton fields, soy beans and lots of animals….just like they like it. And I have to say, I loved it too.
Cody and Abby are so sweet together. You can see how much they care for one another. In fact, while Abby was changing clothes, Cody thanked me for coming to their farm. He said “I know Abby has looked forward to this for so long and I just appreciate you making it happen!” I mean, how sweet is that. You can see that he adores her. I think they have so many great times ahead together! Enjoy a few peeks of their session.
Thank you guys for an amazing session! I can’t wait for your wedding next year!
