I am seriously blessed with the most amazing clients ever. My prayer is always that God will send the right people my way to work with. And God always exceeds my expectations! And it is an amazing thing! Working with people that you adore and that you can build a friendship with just makes the entire process so much nicer!

I have a friend who lives out of state and her daughter is getting married. She recently asked me what a good gift would be to give their photographer. And I thought it was a great question so I am sharing my answer here! We have been blessed with clients that spoil us and here are my top 3 favorite thank you gifts we have been given.

1. A SIMPLE THANK YOU! Everytime I get a thank you card in the mail, it blows my mind. I don’t think I will ever stop loving good old-fashioned mail. The fact that a bride took the time to write me note by hand and mail it, it just makes my heart swell. And we have received some sweet gift cards as well giving my hubby and I a date night out after a hard working wedding season. That was pretty awesome too!

2. Social Media shout-outs! We love when you comment on your blog post or mention us on instagram or Facebook. It makes our little hearts soar to hear you say how much you love your photos or you enjoyed working with us. As a photographer, you pour your heart and soul into creating these wedding photos. Not just on the wedding day when we are finding good light or styling details, but also after the wedding when we spend hours culling and editing your day! Once we send that gallery or the blog post goes live we LOVE to hear from you! We love seeing our photos in your Facebook profile pictures or posted for your #tbt on instagram. We want you to share them! And when you share it, it sends other people our way too…and that goes hand in hand with the next one!

3. REFERRALS! This is hands down the best gift we get from all of our clients. When you love working with us so much that you recommend us to others, it speaks volumes. Everytime I have a new bride inquire that says “You did such and such’s wedding and they just went on and on about how we had to use you” it helps us know that we are doing things right. And chances are if you were a good fit for us, your friends will be too!
